Jeff Storm has been elected to serve a four-year term as a Director for the Palmdale Water District. Storm has been employed in the Aerospace industry for 33 years working on projects such as the B1B Bomber, the Space Shuttle, and the F22 Raptor. He is currently employed as a Quality Engineer at Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Projects, is a member of the American Society for Quality, and is a Certified Quality Engineer. He and his wife also own and operate High Desert Storm Sporting Arms. He is an active member of the community serving on the Palmdale Planning Commission, the Palmdale City General Plan Advisory Committee, and numerous civic and nonprofit boards and committees. His term will expire in December 2011. |

Richard "Dick" Wells has been elected to a four-year term as a Director for the Palmdale Water District. Director Wells is retired from the Los Angeles City Fire Department. He is an active member of the community involved in several City organizations and founder of the Southside Homeowners Association and Palmdale Certified Farmer's Market. |

Linda Godin has been elected to serve a four-year term as a Director for the Palmdale Water District after serving one year as an appointed Director. Godin is a Senior Account Manager for Clear Channel Communications and has worked in the marketing and special events industry for a number of years. She is an active member of the community creating and executing local food drives, fund raising programs for the local Boys & Girls Club and March of Dimes, and promoting “drug-free” programs in local schools. She also served as Executive Director and Corporate Secretary for the Palmdale Chamber of Commerce. She has served on several Board Committees and as a Commissioner for the Antelope Valley State Water Contractors Association. Her term will expire in December 2011. |

Raul Figueroa has been re-elected to a four-year term as a Director for the Palmdale Water District. Figueroa is employed as an Aerospace Engineer and has been involved with the Navy’s “Vertical Launch System,” the Air Force’s C-17 transport plane, and the F-117 fighter at Lockheed Martin. Figueroa is an active member of the community and has served on various District Committees. His term will expire in December 2011. |

David Gomez has been elected to a four-year term as a Director of the Palmdale Water District. Gomez has worked in all aspects of the electrical industry for over twenty years. Director Gomez has been active in the community as a City of Palmdale Planning Commissioner and served on the Palmdale School Board Citizen Bond Oversight Committee. Director Gomez serves on the District's Facilities, and Financial committees and as an alternate commissioner for the Antelope Valley State Water Contractors Association, a JPA of local state water project contractors. His term will expire in December 2009. |

Leslie O. Carter was re-elected in 2003 to a four-year term as Director for the Palmdale Water District. He was serving as the acting Board President and had served the District as a Director for thirty-three years at the time of his passing. Mr. Carter brought to the board his years of experience to the District’s Personnel, Equipment, and Littlerock Dam Committees. He was a retired ITT Senior Field Services Engineer. 1931 - 2004 |
